I told the truth:
A link un-made.
I told a lie:
A link re-made.
I kept my oath:
A chain undone.
I broke my vow:
A chain redone.
I saved a life:
A shackle snapped.
I took a life:
A shackle clasped.
I chose the light:
A bar is cut.
I chose the night:
A door is shut.
I loved the good:
A lock unrust.
I feared the bad:
A key is lost.
I hoped in life:
A light is shone.
I despaired all:
The light is gone.
